The EBC Total Revenue Impact feature helps measure the financial impact of Executive Briefing Center (EBC) engagements by tracking how associated opportunity values increase following a visit. This feature provides valuable insights into revenue growth directly influenced by EBC meetings, helping you make data-driven decisions about future engagements and resource allocation.

How It Works

  1. Opportunity Tracking
    • The system automatically records the value of an opportunity before an EBC visit starts.

      Revenue Impact Calculation

    • Once an engagement reaches the status of “Completed” or “Closed,” the new opportunity value is analyzed, and its impact is recorded in the Salesforce report and displayed on the dashboard.
    • Only opportunities marked as "Closed Won" are included in the revenue impact calculation.

The calculation frequency is determined by the Automatic Updates Settings under Nexus Configurations and is not instant.

  1. Automated Reporting
    • A report or widget is automatically updated to display revenue impact insights, helping assess which engagements generate the most value and informing future planning.

Example Scenarios

Single Visit Impact

  • Opportunity "A" has an initial value of $25,000 before an EBC visit.
  • After the visit, the value increases to $40,000.
  • The revenue impact recorded: $15,000.

Multiple Visits Impact

  • Opportunity "A" starts at $25,000.
  • After Visit A, it increases to $40,000 ($15,000 impact).
  • After Visit B, it further increases to $45,000.
  • The total revenue impact across both visits: $20,000.
