BE SF App Upgrade and UI Enhancements

What: The BE SF App has been migrated to the Salesforce Gen2 Packaging, ensuring a more modular, reliable, and regularly updated experience for end-users. This enhancement is expected to boost productivity, reduce downtime and give us a more robust platform to build on.

The user interfaces of the main application pages "Request Visit" and "Visit Overview" have been revised for improved user experience and efficiency.

Request Engagement

What: The 'Request Engagement' Screen has been updated for a more intuitive user experience. Selected Opportunities and Contacts that the requester wishes to bring into the engagement are displayed in simple cards below the search fields, And when a user clicks on the search fields, recently viewed opportunities and contacts will appear by default for easy access.

Nexus Visit (Engagement) Object

What: Visit details have been reorganized and presented alongside the related objects (Accounts, Opps, Attendees) to present the visit more holistically and intuitively to the user.

Where: Main visit info > Header data section (1); Main visit info > Additional Details section (2); Main visit info > Related Links section (3)


Visit Accounts

What: Accounts linked to the visit are displayed in the right-hand panel. For visits with many accounts, users can click “View All” to see the accounts all displayed in a table format.

Accounts pulled over from Nexus that are not linked to an existing Salesforce account are displayed in Nexus gradient blue-purple colors to indicate that a SF account may need to be created.

Visit Opportunities

What: Opportunities linked to the visit, along with key opportunity details are displayed in the right-hand panel below accounts.

Visit Attendee

What: Attendees are displayed in the right-hand column below Opportunities. Attendees are separated into Internal and External Attendees for each engagement.

Attendees pulled over from Nexus that are not linked to an existing Salesforce Contact are displayed in Nexus gradient blue-purple colors to indicate that a SF account may need to be created.
