Technical Enhacements:

Migration of REST API and SOAP API Services to a Cluster with Horizontal Scalability

Overview: As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the robustness and scalability of our services, we have successfully migrated our REST API and SOAP API services to a cluster with horizontal scalability. This upgrade is designed to provide improved performance, reliability, and the ability to handle increased loads seamlessly. No action is required from Nexus customers.

Migration to Cluster:

  • Both REST API and SOAP API services have been moved to a highly available cluster.
  • This migration leverages advanced infrastructure to ensure superior performance and reliability.

Horizontal Scalability:

  • The new setup supports horizontal scalability, allowing us to add or remove instances based on the current demand.
  • This ensures optimal resource utilization and provides the ability to handle peak loads efficiently without performance degradation.

Benefits: The migration results in improved response times and reduced latency due to the robust infrastructure. It also ensures high availability and fault tolerance with automatic failover mechanisms.

The migration will be rolled out over the next two months, with traffic being switched over incrementally to ensure a smooth transition. Each service will be migrated one by one to minimize any potential disruption.

CDN Implementation

Overview: We are excited to announce the implementation of a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for our web application. This enhancement aims to significantly improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our application by distributing static files across multiple servers worldwide. No action is required from Nexus customers.

Migration of Static Files:

  • All static files, including JavaScript (JS), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and fonts, have been moved to the CDN.
  • This migration ensures faster load times and improved user experience, especially for users accessing the application from various geographic locations.

Benefits: The CDN implementation results in reduced latency and faster load times due to the proximity of CDN servers to end users. It also provides increased redundancy and reliability, ensuring high availability of static file delivery.
