Announcements

Announcements allow you to set up system bulletins that users can see when they access Nexus Scheduler or request a visit at one of your sites.

Go to Admin > Announcements > Announcements

Customizing Bulletins

Save button - Use this button to save any changes you make.

  1. Bulletin Type List - Quickly jump to a different system bulletin.
  2. Access Levels - Control which Nexus Scheduler access levels can see this bulletin.
  3. Bulletin Body - Edit the actual body of the bulletin to include whatever information you wish to convey.

Selecting a Bulletin Type

Use the Bulleting Type List to access the various system bulletins.

The top of this list has the bulletins that are shown to users when they first access Nexus Scheduler.

  • Global Bulletin - This bulletin can be shown to those users who log in through the Nexus Scheduler Username/Password access system.
  • From SalesForce Bulletin - This bulletin can be shown to those users who access Nexus Scheduler directly from Salesforce.

The lower portion of this list has the bulletins associated with each of your active sites.

  • A Site Bulletin can be shown when a user selects that site during the visit request process.

TIP: Access bulletins can be used to communicate this and that... Site bulletins can be used to communicate other stuff...

Control Which Access Levels See Each Bulletin

Below the Bulletin Type List is a set of check boxes to control which Nexus Scheduler user access levels see this bulletin. You can independently control which access levels see each bulletin.

NOTE: In this example, the Global Bulletin will be shown to Account Managers (Requesters) and to Briefing Managers (Coordinators) but not to Nexus Scheduler Administrators (the BES Admin access level is reserved for the Nexus Scheduler Support group.
